ALAN Shanoff
Retired Lawyer, Retired Columnist
Alan Shanoff was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1978 and practised law at Goodmans LLP, as corporate counsel and finally as a sole practitioner until his retirement from the practice of law in 2017.
During his working career he lectured at Humber College in the Journalism Faculty for ten years and also was a freelance columnist writing on legal affairs and social justice for various publications.
He was a member of the Board of Directors of Sheena’s Place and the Research Ethics Board of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre for significant periods of time.
